Social Media Strategist

As Clix's Social Media Strategist, youll play a pivotal role in transforming client goals into high-impact social media strategies across both paid and organic campaigns. Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, youll need a problem-solving mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to pivot based on performance data.
This is a highly intrapreneurialrole. You will own your accounts, working directly with clients to set strategy, oversee execution through delegation and management, analyze results, and refine campaigns. Whether the objective is lead generation, brand awareness, or audience engagement, youll drive data-backed decisions and optimize campaigns for measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned operator with a performance-driven approach to campaign management, capable of making proactive, strategic adjustments to maximize outcomes.
This role is open to candidates residing in Missouri or Arkansas only. Applications outside of these states will not be considered.
What Youll Do:
- Translate client business goals into strategic and tactical social media plans
- Manage and optimize both paid and organic social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Analyze performance using native platform analytics and GA4 to optimize campaigns and inform strategy
- Develop content strategies (including paid ad creative and organic content calendars) that align with client objectives
- Write and edit high-quality, conversion-driven copy tailored to different audiences
- Design visually compelling social media assets using Canva (no Adobe required)
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social media into broader digital marketing strategies
- Confidently communicate with clients, providing strategy recommendations, performance insights, and ongoing optimizations
- Troubleshoot technical tracking issues (Meta Pixels, UTM parameters, etc.)
- Stay ahead of platform trends and proactively introduce new opportunities to clients and internal teams
- Other relevant tasks as needed
What Makes You a Fit:
- 3-5 years of organic and paid social media management experience, handling multiple accounts at once with proven track record
- Proven ability to problem-solve and adapt strategies based on analytics
- Deep understanding of social media advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to tailor tone and messaging for different audiences
- Canva proficiency and an eye for design best practices (no Adobe Creative Suite needed)
- Ability to leverage ChatGPT and other AI tools to improve delivery efficiency
- Basic familiarity with WordPress and how social media integrates with websites
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
- Self-sufficient, able to take full ownership of your clients and drive success with minimal hand-holding
- Passionate about learning and staying ahead of social media trends and technologies
