The Titans are entering an exciting time in franchise history and are looking for a Vice President of Marketing – Advertising + Analytics to lead strategic marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing marketing strategies to drive fan growth, engagement, and brand expansion, reaching key target audiences and emerging markets. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and results-driven leader with a blend of strategic vision, creativity, and analytical expertise to optimize campaigns and deliver measurable outcomes.
As a key member of the leadership team reporting to the SVP, Brand Marketing, this role will work cross-functionally to ensure all marketing initiatives align with the organization’s long-term strategy and mission. The Vice President of Marketing – Advertising + Analytics must be a strong collaborator, a champion of brand integrity, and a mentor to a team of marketing professionals. Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive fan engagement across all platforms and channels for both Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium.
- Identify target audiences through research and analysis, develop tailored marketing strategies to engage them, and drive conversion through data-driven insights and strategic campaigns.
- Oversee all paid marketing efforts, including but not limited to traditional advertising, paid search, social media advertising and affiliate marketing.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website and app development, SEO, SEM, email, SMS, and YouTube strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess marketing effectiveness, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
- Utilize analytics to identify trends, optimize strategies, and drive measurable impact on engagement and revenue.
Collaboration & Relationship Management
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Content & Creative, Strategy & Analytics, Corporate Partnerships, Ticket Sales, and Stadium Events to develop integrated marketing strategies.
- Act as a strategic leader, advocating for brand consistency and alignment while ensuring collaboration across departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and vendors to enhance media buying, growth marketing, and brand reach.
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach and invest in a diverse team of marketing professionals across multiple disciplines, fostering a culture of personal development, innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring financial responsibility while maximizing marketing impact and effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to keep the Titans at the forefront of a changing media landscape.
Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of translating vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- At least 10-12 years of experience in marketing experience, with hands-on technical knowledge across a broad range of marketing tools (SEO, Paid Social, Web, Email, etc.)
- 3 - 5 years in a department leadership position with a strong proven track record of team management and mentorship.
- Proven track record of leading successful cross-functional marketing teams and delivering engaging, seamless campaigns with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards a common vision.
- Expansive knowledge of mobile app development, SDKs, API integrations, UI/UX design, marketing automation, digital marketing, website/digital analytics, SEO best practices, content strategy and CRM databases.
- Understanding or practical experience with data protection, data privacy, consent-based marketing and confidentiality laws and regulations, including but not limited to knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, CAN-SPAM, COPPA, and TIPA.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience within the sports industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
