Audio Visual Programmer Job Description:

Position Overview: The Audiovisual Programmer will be responsible for programming, configuring, and maintaining audiovisual control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# programming, experience with control systems, and a deep understanding of integrated AV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and program control systems for audiovisual installations.
  2. Configure and integrate AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, and DSP systems.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and control programming.
  5. Create and maintain detailed documentation for all programming and system configurations.
  6. Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the operation of AV systems.
  8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve programming skills and system integration techniques.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in programming with C# and Crestron SIMPL Windows.
  3. Proven experience with web technology such as HTML5 and JavaScript.
  4. Experience with Lua (Q-SYS) and PowerShell.
  5. Strong knowledge of audiovisual control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC).
  6. Experience with integrated AV systems and their components.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Crestron Masters Certified Programmer (certified after 2019 or after taking metal exam in the last 5 years).
  10. Biamp Tesira.
  11. Q-SYS Level 2 and Control 201.
