Earth Animal is searching for a passionate Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team in Southport, Connecticut. About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled designer to bring Earth Animal’s creative vision to life. This hands-on role combines high-quality design execution with collaborative teamwork, ensuring every asset elevates our brand. As part of our in-house team, you’ll create exceptional designs across digital, print, packaging and experiential channels while helping shape our creative direction. While the role is design lead, there is plenty of scope for concept development for our products and campaigns so being able to think beyond execution is really important.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful, visually engaging work that reflects Earth Animal’s mission and values.
Key responsibilities:
- End-to-End Design Execution: Develop and deliver standout design concepts that reflect Earth Animal’s brand identity across digital, print, packaging, and experiential platforms.
- Concept Development: Brainstorm and refine innovative design ideas that push creative boundaries, ensuring they align with brand values and project goals.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the wider team to ideate, shoot, and design in-house content, ensuring a cohesive and polished brand aesthetic.
- Creative Asset Development: Produce high-quality visual assets for social media, website, product packaging, and marketing campaigns, meeting deadlines and brand standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all teams to seamlessly integrate visual storytelling across the business.
- Design Strategy: Contribute to design strategy and creative direction, while remaining hands-on in producing and delivering high-quality work.
Requirements for success
- 3+ years practical experience in a relevant area.
- Confident in illustration, typography, branding, color theory and layout.
- 3D tools for graphic creation, such as Blender, Cinema4D, is a bonus.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Versatile in a wide range of graphic and illustration styles.
- Excited to challenge conventions and bring fresh perspectives to our brand.
- Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills with a high level of initiative & self-sufficiency.
- Able to objectively critique and curate your own work with great attention to detail.
- A passion for the wellbeing of pets and a drive to translate this into meaningful storytelling.
- Up to date with popular culture and trends.
- A positive outlook, dynamic collaborative mentality and strong work ethic.
Hybrid work schedule 3x days per week in the office.
This job description reflects the core activities of the role although there will be changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time.
