Job Title: SEO Lead
We’re hiring a SEO Lead to drive growth through programmatic SEO, editorial content, and its distribution. As one of the founding members of the Growth team, you’ll work closely with our Head of Growth (previous YC founder, Affirm), sales, and product to drive adoption of Bardeen’s product.

Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Creation: Research, plan, and adapt content strategies to align with client goals. Manage freelance writers and editorial processes while ensuring quality through hands-on writing and editing. Open to using AI tools.
- Project Management: Oversee content programs, track multiple projects, and manage deadlines to deliver high-quality content on time.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams—Research, GTM Strategy, Freelancers, and Automation—to meet client needs.
- Quality Control: Review all content to maintain high standards and align with client guidelines.
- SEO Optimization: Apply technical SEO, semantic search, and on/off-page SEO strategies to drive growth. Proficient in tools like STAT, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
Who You Are
- Proven SEO Results: Successfully built and scaled SEO initiatives at previous companies, including the ability to create and deliver on a world-class content calendar.
- Strong Writing Skills: You can both write and edit world-class copy.
- Strategic Generalist: Strong understanding of various growth channels with hands-on experience in at least one key area (e.g., viral growth, SEO/SEM, or paid marketing).
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to innovate and execute on new strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Skilled in analyzing metrics to refine our approach to creating targeted content that converts.
