Harmon Photo LLC is hiring: Studio Assistant in Fort Myers

This job is a part time, entry level position. We do hands-on work with various forms of older media, as well as provide modern photography services. Much of the knowledge required for this position will be taught. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on computers, excited to help customers, and more than anything reliable.

This position will assist with both the Photography and Media Transfer sides of the business. As you get comfortable in your role, more things can be introduced that are done here in the office. Job requirements include:

Media Transfers:

1. Film/Slide scanning
2. Video tape transfers
3. Digital file conversion and management

Photography:

1. Metering Lights Before Photoshoots
2. Assisting with Photoshoots (business portraits, pet photoshoots, couples, etc.)
3. Light editing work on photos
4. Cutting prints

General Office:

1. Taking orders
2. Answering phone
3. Receiving payments for invoices and pickups

*Preschools - We do spend a few months, twice a year, going into the schools and doing school pictures! If interested, you can go along and gain experience working with the kids (ages 0-4).

Business hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

We do not work outside the office hours unless you are accompanying the photographer to a location shoot (always discussed weeks prior to photoshoot).
