Job Summary

Job Summary

The social media intern will be the liaison between the stores and the home office, creating and posting content on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to promote the brand, product offerings, and events to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Serve as a member of the Marketing team by our core values.
- Perform all regular duties associated with social media professionally.
- Responsible for learning about and understanding the Aggieland Outfitters brand.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all company employees.
- Participate in company-sponsored events and networking opportunities to create content for social media.
- Conduct customer surveys and contests.
- Respond to customer social posts.
- Maintain social media channels as directed (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest).
- Communicate with the store management team to accommodate their social media needs.
- Maintain scheduled and organized social media posts.
- Plan and organize AO Instagram lives.
- Complete other tasks relevant to the field and needed by the company.
- Work as a liaison between Kalcorp and partners/vendors.
- Demonstrate winning customer service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
Key Skills And Attributes
- Ability to understand customer’s needs and wants regarding social media posts to drive store traffic and sales.
- Ability to remain flexible with variations of posting times.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Very detail-oriented and a highly effective communicator.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and Google.
Formal Qualifications
- Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in marketing with a particular interest and passion for social media.
Professional Experience
- Demonstrated ability to appeal to social media audiences.
NOTES
- Available to work an average of 20-30 hours per week.
- This position will require some transportation to retail locations utilizing a personal vehicle.
