Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Visual Designer who possesses a strong background in visual design and user experience design. As the Lead Visual Designer, you will be responsible for leading the visual design efforts and ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide the design process from concept to execution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the creative and visual design strategy and execution, ensuring consistency and high-quality visual design across all digital platforms and products.
  2. Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements, goals, and user needs.
  3. Ability to think strategically and extend existing brand identity systems into new visual concepts and digital experiences.
  4. Conduct user research and gather insights to inform the visual design process, ensuring a user-centered approach.
  5. Conceptualize visual aesthetics across a range of creative styles using mood boards, style tiles, etc.
  6. Be a visual storyteller who uses imagery to communicate experience-driven concepts and solutions as compelling stories.
  7. Utilize visual systems and taxonomies to improve the user experience and product usability.
  8. Create visually stunning and intuitive designs, including user interfaces, layouts, icons, typography, and graphics, that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
  9. Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability of the visual design system.
  10. Prototype and create interactive mockups to demonstrate the user experience and gather feedback for iterative design improvements.
  11. Produce interaction flows and user interface deliverables, including annotated wireframe mockups, functional prototypes, storyboards, flow diagrams, etc.
  12. Participate in customer research and usability testing activities.
  13. Collaborate with a team of visual designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth.
  14. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of the visual design and smooth user interactions.
  15. Participate in the full design and development cycle to ensure that creative innovations in user-centered design are faithfully delivered to our clients.
  16. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging design tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the design process and deliver innovative solutions.
  17. Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a design-thinking culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in visual design, Graphic Design, UX Design, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience (7+ preferred) proven experience as a Visual Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and ability to create visually appealing and user-centered designs.
  3. Strong design foundation including adept use of grids, typography, color harmony, imagery, etc.
  4. Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  5. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser capabilities.
  6. Excellent client presentation skills to successfully articulate design concepts to internal teams.
  7. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software.
  8. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  10. A passion for design, user experience, and staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
