Randstad USA is hiring: Service Writer in Village of Farmingdale

We have a great direct hire opportunity for a Service Writer in Farmingdale, NY. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer, apply today! The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the dispatch/operations team and technicians. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive service, and strong computer skills.

Salary: $70,000 - $70,000.01 per year
Shift: First
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Education: High School

Responsibilities

1. Experience in auto service management is preferred.
2. Knowledge of automotive sales processes and techniques.
3. Familiarity with brake repair, auto body repair, diesel engine repair, and general vehicle maintenance.
4. Strong computer skillset.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Proficient in using computer systems for transmitting information related to services provided.
8. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
9. Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive service-related certifications or courses are a plus. CDL class B with P is preferred for this role.
