Senior Technical Recruiter with Lorenz Engineering

The Technical Writer 2 (Communications and Documentation Specialist) will support the Power Delivery Data Analytics team by creating and managing internal communications and technical documentation for software applications and analytics dashboards. This hybrid role (in-office Tuesday-Thursday) involves composing and maintaining user guides, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation while ensuring clarity and accuracy for internal stakeholders. The specialist will also develop PowerPoint presentations, video content, and executive one-pagers to effectively communicate project updates and new software features.

A key part of the role includes gathering and synthesizing user feedback to improve content effectiveness and enhance user experience. The specialist will also draft emails, newsletters, and website content to keep teams informed of updates and changes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and internal communications for software applications and analytics dashboards.
2. Create PowerPoint presentations, videos, and executive summaries to communicate key updates effectively.
3. Gather and analyze user feedback to improve content clarity.
4. Draft emails, newsletters, and website content, and support website maintenance to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Required Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience in technical writing and communications.
2. Strong command of grammar and language conventions (APA/MLA preferred).
3. Familiarity with data analytics, Power BI, and application development.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience with UX/UI principles and proficiency in video editing tools such as Camtasia, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in the technology industry.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to understand highly technical information.
