The House of Smile

The House of Smile is a boutique experiential design studio focused on storytelling as a medium to connect a brand with the guest. Apart from concepting and development, we build the physical experience with attention to every detail - from master planning to final finishes. Utilizing our collective knowledge, we maximize efficiencies to create the most effective product to bring the brand and guest experience to life.

As a Manager of Production/Producer, you drive creative production for physical and digital experiential design by providing technical expertise throughout most departments. The Manager of Production/Producer role includes:

  • Generate concept development, overall project plan, timelines, budget, P&L, experience design build plans, fabrication, quality assurance, installation, and project completion
  • Develop and execute project plan - workback/milestone schedule, graphics matrix, production timeline, labor calls, trucking schedule, contact list, travel, credentials, packing list
  • Collaborate with the Senior Producers, as well as creative and production teams in order to execute a client’s vision while maintaining the client’s brand in conjunction with SMILE’s ethos
  • Directly communicate and collaborate with the client and the client’s team in order to solidify and amplify ideas and create an internal strategy and deliverables to execute those ideas
  • Assist with client negotiations
  • Negotiate pricing, payment, and manage vendors to accomplish on-time and on-budget deliverables
  • Conduct research and gather information on each project to achieve quality event productions
  • Actively participate in each production as a “boots on the ground” producer by making site visits, and finding resources/contractors/vendors for event production both before, during and after the event
  • Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters
  • Managing on-site production for events, including internal and external labor
  • Close out all events as required
  • Ideation and brainstorming for current and future projects overall.
  • Maximize brand presence not only of our clients, but of SMILE itself.
