Responsibilities

1. Meet with new, existing, and prospective policyholders and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options.
2. Stay up to date on evolving property and casualty insurance protocols to facilitate insurance policy selection and policy renewals to all customers’ satisfaction.
3. Employ successful sales-based marketing strategies such as prospecting, cold calling, networking, and more to identify and secure potential clients.
4. Ensure that existing, new, and prospective clients complete all appropriate forms and meet insurance policy requirements, and facilitate the insurance claims process, which may include examining the condition of physical properties to assess risks.
5. Track and share progress toward monthly quotas by consistently updating bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records.

Required Experience

1. Active Property/Casualty and Life/Health license highly preferred.
2. Bi-lingual is a plus.
3. 1-2 years Insurance sales experience.
4. Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior.
5. Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening.
6. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills.
7. Must be motivated and determined.

Compensation and Location Disclosure

The Farmers District Office is assisting our agents in hiring producers for their agencies. As such, location and compensation details will vary based on the position you are matched with. All positions will be in the greater Atlanta area. Compensation for this position is solely up to the Farmers agency owner, which may include base salary, base salary plus commission, or commission only arrangements. If commission is part of the compensation for this position, the agency owner can provide you a list of applicable insurance and insurance-related products along with the commission rates for which you can be compensated.
