Freelance Marine Flooring Designer (Hybrid Remote/On-Site)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled freelance designer to assist in creating marine flooring templates and digital designs. This role involves using PhotoModeler, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and other design software to ensure precision fitment for marine flooring installations. The ideal candidate will have experience in digitization, templating, and CAD-based design and be comfortable working both remotely and on-site when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Digitize and create accurate templates for marine flooring using PhotoModeler, CAD, and Illustrator.
- Ensure proper fitment of designs through precise measurements and file preparation.
- Modify and adjust designs based on customer or production requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline the templating and digitization process.
- Occasionally visit on-site locations for measurements and verification.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PhotoModeler, CAD software, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience in marine flooring design, templating, or similar industries preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create precise digital templates.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Access to necessary software and equipment for remote work.
- Willingness to travel for on-site templating as needed.
