We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for almost 40 years and employs about 170 employees. The Art Source, Inc. is the parent company to our three sister companies - Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors & CocoNene. Our core competency as a business is local manufacturing of customizable products for the home: artwork, interior furniture & home decor. We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we sell to our customers through our various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We are looking for a full-time Marketing Content Specialist. This position will be responsible for producing compelling photo and video content for use across multiple channels, including print, online, social media and other marketing mediums. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and photography, with the ability to create high-resolution content that aligns with our brand standards. This role will also support general marketing campaigns and special projects as determined by the Marketing Director. The candidate must be comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Pay for this position is between $21-25/h, commensurate with skills/experience. Employees are also eligible for a performance-based incentive (profit-sharing parallel to achievement of company goals). This position qualifies for full benefits: medical insurance, 401k, paid time off (based on tenure - 12 days total during the first year, up to 20 days after 5y). Essential Job Functions:
- Create engaging, high-quality photo and video content for use in print collateral, large format signage and digital platforms.
- Plan and execute marketing content across all brands for product launches, promotions, in-store events and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas and take notes for marketing team meetings.
- Plan, shoot, and edit both hi-res and lo-fi video content for promotional campaigns, product showcases and other marketing initiatives.
- Implement feedback from Creative and Marketing teams through concept, versioning and final delivery of content.
- Manage and maintain an organized library of images and video for easy access and use by the marketing team and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure all content is visually appealing, on-brand and optimized for its intended platform.
- Report to key stakeholders on KPIs, A|B tests and optimizing content strategies to drive leads and build brand awareness.

- DSLR camera
- Desktop computer or laptop
- Design and motion applications, standard design applications, and photo/video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite products
Work Environment Exposure:
- This role requires frequent travel to store locations, client residences and on-site events comfort in these environments is a necessity.
QUALIFICATIONS/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to conceptualize, shoot and edit content from start to finish using professional camera equipment
- Proficiency with photo and video editing software, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro.
- Strong brainstorming skills with keen sense for how to make the end-product even better when shooting and editing.
- Ability to take feedback, implement edits and collaborate with other team members for the best possible outcome.
- Understanding of long-form video content as well as short-form social media video.
- Positive and solution-based attitude. This role must take ownership of its impact on each project and see that all details are well vetted.
- Energetic, approachable and self-motivated attitude.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, organization skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and able to derive meaning through A|B testing, analytics and trends.
- Excellent writer and communicator (written and verbal).
- Graphic design experience a plus.
Education/Training Experience
- Bachelors degree in Video Film, Photography, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Proficient in shooting video and stills with DSLR cameras and experienced with other filmmaking equipment, including but not limited to various camera lenses, sound recording equipment, lighting equipment, and camera and gear rigging equipment.
- Experience in multi-channel content creation and video editing at an agency, media company, design studio, brand or similar. Content samples required with application.
- Experience working under tight deadlines in challenging situations.
