About the role
We are in search of a committed Social Media & Content Strategist. The perfect candidate will play a pivotal role in content creation, overseeing social media calendars across various platforms, managing analytics, user-generated content, and cultivating influencer relationships. This position demands a hands-on mentality, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration with the design and marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the chosen candidate will be a key contributor to our overall social strategy.
What you’ll do
- Conceptualize and create a high volume of relevant, insightful content across our social channels, with strong skills in video producing, editing and social media copywriting.
- Comfortable and excited about ideating and pitching original, ideas that will reach a large audience through social media & email marketing.
- Shows a demonstrable interest and passion in making creative content on social media platforms such as: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, email etc.
- Proven ability to create social media engagement and organic growth
- Assist in creating and executing a long-term social growth strategy through acquisition, retention, influencer, and engagement practices.
- Create, maintain, and publish the social calendar across channels to support campaigns, launches, seasonal themes and events.
- Manage influencer platform or agency and influencer relationships to drive revenue growth m awareness and content goals.
- Assist in management of external social agencies and vendors.
- Working with internal and external teams to establish annual PR/Influencer strategies.
- Working closely with the Ecommerce and Sales Team to ensure 360 digital activations are executed on social channels.
- Gathering social/influencer performance data for optimization opportunities.
- Building and maintaining social community relationships with customers, influencers, retailers and industry favorites by replying to, commenting and liking relevant posts.
- Trouble-shooting issues raised on social channels and working to resolve with appropriate team members.
- Maintaining and executing the PR early needs samples to agencies, field, and markets.
- Create and distribute monthly PR newsletter and press tools for sales team.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on content performance & audience insights.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance of our social content, and continuously optimize social strategy based on our best performing content.
- Develop and execute community strategies to build brand awareness and engagement.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree • 3-5 years of social media, digital marketing, content creation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding of social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and youtube etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power-point), Google analytics and Social Media Scheduling tools.
- Prestige beauty or oral healthcare industry experience a plus
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
