Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive our brand's growth and lead innovative marketing initiatives. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have curiosity for/interest in the food processing industry.

Duties:

  • Possess a good working knowledge of the company's product line and customer base. Travel with salespeople to remain current with changes in products, customer needs, and markets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and find appropriate ways of penetrating those areas, both in printed and on-line formats.
  • Develop and manage initiatives in advertising, promotion, sponsorship, special events, collateral, web site and other means that convey a unified and distinctive presence in the marketplace.
  • Write and oversee production of marketing collateral.
  • Manage marketing tools used to accomplish corporate marketing strategy including: trade shows, seminars, public relations, database, catalog, direct mail, social media, e-mail campaigns, web site, publication advertising and sales support collateral.
  • Utilize experience in a variety of marketing/direct marketing disciplines and media to practice integrated marketing.
  • Perform database, website, and electronic promotion analysis.
  • Oversee tradeshows coordination activities.
  • Assist in analyzing feedback from the market to outline emerging client needs and requirements from which to build, test and implement new approaches and/or offerings.
  • Review campaign requirements, gain an understanding of the target audience to which a marketing campaign is directed, develop concepts and manage deadlines.
  • Responsible for communicating and protecting the company's brand identity and graphic standards.
  • Oversee design and layouts for printed and electronic catalogs, direct mail and large format graphics.
  • Reviews and approves all graphic reproductions regardless of media.
  • Monitors expenditures to keep within budget parameters.
  • Project manage graphic design needs for manufacturing (e.g. decals, control panel templates).
  • Contracts vendor services including printers, designers, photographers and videographers.
  • Maintains image library and files.
  • Participate in marketing strategy sessions and project meetings.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of eight years' marketing experience.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in B2B marketing including E-commerce and internet marketing.
  • Experience in brand promotion, events and marketing campaigns.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in CRM, Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Capital equipment marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong internet knowledge with specific experience in electronic marketing; previous experience with Microsoft Marketing a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve problems in a group or individual setting.
  • Possess or obtain a valid passport.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to fulfill all essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to feel and manipulate, and requires the ability to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
