SERVPRO of Salida is seeking a Marketing Representative with business-to -business brand marketing experience with extensive knowledge of Salida and the surrounding area. The Marketing Representative will develop and execute a marketing plan in coordination with the marketing team to promote the SERVPRO brand. This person will build and maintain relationships and brand awareness with customers via community involvement and networking. The Marketing Representative will continually monitor and refine marketing efforts to optimize results.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Team Collaboration
- Regular meeting attendance
- Continuing education and coaching with Manager
- Develop marketing plan for new territory
- Daily contact preparations and job referral activity
- Daily priority planning
Business Development
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute contact schedule
- Execute daily business contacts and referral activities.
- Document Progress
- Debrief with Manager
Networking & Events
- Coordinate marketing & entertainment events
- Cultivate ongoing relationships with customers and the community at large
- Participate in professional networking events
- Participate in community outreach
Required Skills
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business-to-business marketing experience
Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of current business software technologies including Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the commercial cleaning, restoration or insurance industry
Bachelors degree in marketing or business
Experience with brand marketing
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Travel is up to 90%, primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working varying hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with nights and weekends as needed. This position may require longer hours, and some flexibility in hours may be needed dependent upon the business needs.
