We are seeking a passionate and dynamic School Music Director/Teacher to lead our Jewish music program for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will instill a love of Jewish music in students, nurture their musical abilities, and create meaningful opportunities for performance and growth. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons, incorporating music theory, vocal instruction, and instrumental activities. Organize and lead school performances, concerts, and musical programs that celebrate student talent and creativity. Foster a love of music by encouraging participation and creating an inclusive, inspiring classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers to integrate Jewish music into other areas of learning. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, embodying BMA’s core values. Supervise students during non-instructional times, ensuring a positive and safe environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field preferred. Experience teaching music to children in a school setting. Proficiency in vocal and instrumental instruction. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
