A client of Insight Global is hiring for a Media/Digital Communication Lead. This position involves leading and mentoring the media team, which includes audio, visual, and social media volunteers. Primary duties include overseeing the technical aspects of worship services, managing video production and live streaming, ensuring a high-quality online worship broadcast, and coordinating updates across all digital platforms. The Media Lead reports directly to the Director of Worship and Arts. Key Responsibilities: - Lead media efforts for special services, including revivals, concerts, and seasonal programs. - Embody the church’s vision for discipleship by fostering spiritual growth, community relationships, and service. - Attend all worship services, special events, and meetings as needed. - Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Worship and Arts. Production Management: - Train and support volunteers in building a dynamic, contemporary multi-media ministry. - Oversee audio and visual operations for all worship services. - Regularly review and update procedures for operating audio and video equipment, ensuring improvements where necessary. - Monitor live streaming on the web and social media, and archive videos for future use. - Maintain and troubleshoot all audio/visual equipment, recommending upgrades as needed. - Manage the media budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Digital Communications: - Update the church website regularly. - Oversee social media messaging and updates, coordinating efforts with volunteers (Facebook, Instagram). - Create or work with vendors to develop graphics for marketing and publications.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: - A degree in video production, graphic design, or a related field is preferred but not required. - Candidates with relevant experience demonstrating required skills will be considered. - Proficiency in video editing, graphics, and audio equipment, including soundboards and microphones during live services. - Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues during services. - Attention to detail, strong leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Compensation:

$14/hr to $15/hr.

 

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
