Position Summary:

Shoes For Crews North America, LLC is seeking an experienced Creative Manager to join our team. Reporting into the Sr. Director of Marketing, the candidate will champion the branded creative needs across the organization, guiding creative, messaging and brand consistency to create a unified experience across all end consumer touch points. The Creative Manager will drive and continuously elevate the overall creative expression of Shoes For Crews’ family of brands across the following content disciplines: digital, web, email, social, print, retail stores, and other.

You bring a depth of leadership developed in-house, from an agency environment, or both.?You're an expert at evaluating creative and providing clear direction. You?have deep expertise in bringing?the brand?to life in?multiple channels—traditional as well as digital.? As a thought leader, you are able to interpret creative strategically. You enjoy mentoring and growing your team and working cross-functionally. And you are business savvy, delivering creative with a purpose, grounded in business objectives.?

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the family of brand guidelines, application, adherence, and overall creative direction of the company and key business segments.
  • Inspire and lead?the graphic design and creative team who develop various forms of digital marketing, email design, website creative, print and direct mail, visual (photography, video, editing, motion graphics, 3D creation); product,?in-store creative, copywriting?and content creation.
  • Inspiring?your?team to create distinctive designs?and experiences?that project SFC’s competitive advantage and engage prospects, B2B customers, and consumers in new and unique ways?
  • Interpreting insights into successful?strategic messaging that?delights the customers and consumers and grows B2B accounts and B2C engagement.
  • Lead the SEO & Copy writing team to deliver on-brand and performance copy that improves search rank and engages our consumers in a cohesive brand voice.?
  • Manage external agencies as needed.
  • Leverage diverse roster of creative and production resources to activate when needed (agencies, freelancers, etc.)?
  • Advocate for the department as whole - be a vocal?advocate?for?your team;?helping?the organization (functional partners up through C-suite leadership) see the power of creative as a business driver.
  • Communicating?efficiently and directly with the?cross-functional partners in?creative, brand, growth marketing, and product.??
  • Managing?creative roadmap and priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environment?
  • Using?data gathered from key stakeholders, insights, marketing analytics to impact design thinking and solutions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in-house, at a creative agency, or both. B2B and B2C experience a plus but must have some experience with retail / CPG / manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience leading and developing a team of copywriters, graphic designers, at all experience levels.
  • Proven track record of creating brand-defining and business-driven work across various channels -including digital, print & packaging, mobile-first web, video & photography.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to get the heart of why a creative idea is relevant
  • Experience setting team priorities, solving problems, multi-tasking and working within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strategic mindset that is ROI driven and resourceful.
  • Team-oriented management style based on coaching, mentorship and collaboration.
  • Flexible nature and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational acumen with the ability to quickly pivot and learn how to get things done.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Design, Management, or related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience in a related field and/or position
