The Manalapan High School Music Parents Association Scholarship (Manalapan High School Students)

One (1) $250 cash award presented to the most talented and accomplished senior in the music departmental program, as determined by the professional staff. This Scholarship, created by the Executive Board of the Music Parents’ Association, is dedicated to the past, present, and future members of the MHSMPA in recognition of the dedication, commitment, and leadership demonstrated in support of the music students in the MHS “Marching Braves” family.

Selection Criteria

• A Manalapan High School Student;
• A 4-year participant in Manalapan Marching Band;
• Have held a leadership position;
• Outstanding reputation at school;
• Pursuing a music- or education-related major or minor in college;
• Submit an essay on why the student feels they meet the criteria.

The recipient, recognized for demonstrated leadership, outstanding accomplishments in, and contributions to the MHS music program, will be recognized at the Annual Music Parents’ Association Banquet. The presentation will be made by the Music Director and/or the President of the MHSMPA.
