Join Our Team: Psychiatrist Opportunity in Nashville, TN

River Region Psychiatry Associates is excited to announce an opening for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist in Nashville, TN for occasional weekend IP coverage. While a specialization in addiction psychiatry is not required, a strong working knowledge of addiction treatment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.
  • Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers to deliver the highest quality care.
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with facility standards.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • A valid Tennessee medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Excellent teaching and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to care.
  • Prior experience supervising mid-level providers is preferred.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology

Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)

License Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
