Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Videographer
POSITION PURPOSE:
We're looking for a creative filmmaker (videographer aka cinematographer+editor) who thrives in a creative environment and gets excited about the chance to experiment in all kinds of genres and content formats. They can't be afraid to take risks with learning new filmmaking techniques and genres, from fashion campaigns, to documentary interviews, Ecommerce, social media campaigns, and more.
TEAMWORK
A team-player who can work collaboratively with directors, producers, editors, and other departments.
Excellent communication skills are needed in order to communicate workflow challenges to other departments and clients, who may not know video workflows. Basic storyboards, pre-vis, scripts, and/or any tools possible to keep communication as clear as possible from the beginning of projects.
Able to be proud of their work, while still taking and applying notes from outside parties, and always remembering to stay aligned with brand guidelines and "big picture" project objectives.
They must pride themselves in time management and working within constraints - as project timelines vary from months long, to "same day" rush-jobs.
CREATIVE THINKER AND DOER
When needed, they must work as a self-starting creative storyteller who can work independently, leading a project from ideation to final export. Someone who will always "find a way" to make a project work. (no such thing as "not possible").
VIDEO EDITING
Must be an experienced cinematographer, able to work with crews and beauty lighting, but also run-and-gun" style shooting.
While cinematography is the primary skill, they should also be skilled in editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and be able to jump in to help edit all genres of video projects, and willingness to learn new styles of video editing. Should pride themselves in storytelling and emulating other video examples. Willing to learn color correction.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or Masters
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years

Base salary will be determined on various factors, including but not limited to, market data, internal equity, relevant background, and experience for the specified role. GUESS?
