Summary

The Public Relations Specialist, as part of the General Affairs team at MNAe, will support in creating and maintaining a favorable and innovative public image for customers. This PR Specialist will communicate programs, accomplishments, and points of view. Additionally, primary responsibilities include managing the social media channels and external websites, media monitoring and reporting, leading the Internal Communications and signage efforts, and responding to media inquiries. Media inquiry responses may include pitching stories to the media, preparing media kits, and organizing press conferences.


ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC

MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.



Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)


[External Communications]

  • Manage the MNAe social media channels to create awareness and support MNAe's hiring needs.
  • Manage the agency resource in the creation of the weekly media monitoring report and ultimately taking on this responsibility.
  • Manage the content of the careers.mnae.com website and be instrumental in the design and implementation of the MNAe website.
  • Support the Manager of General Affairs with press releases, event planning and activations.
  • Responsible for media monitoring and reporting.
  • Respond to requests for plant visits; organize and prepare the visits.

[Media Relations]

  • Build a good rapport with reporters, journalists, and other media professionals.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to measure the effectiveness of our strategies and help develop actions that will improve results.
  • Manage media lists to track the most current affiliations and prioritize engagement.
  • Manage memberships with local chamber organizations across the region.

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)


Required Education & Experience:

  • BS Degree required; Communications or Public Relations major preferred
  • 2+ years experience with Public Relations

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent Communication skills; written and verbal
  • Excellent computer literacy
    • Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Website content management program experience
    • Photo and video editing skills
    • Social media account management experience

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.
