Digital Campaign Services and Content Director

Join to apply for the Digital Campaign Services and Content Director role at Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee

Reports to: Executive Director

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), the campaign committee dedicated to protecting and expanding the Democratic Senate majority, is hiring a Digital Campaign Services and Content Director for the 2026 election cycle to lead the department to support Senate campaigns on all things digital so they can execute the best possible digital programs and run all DSCC digital content including social media, graphics, and video production (including our media studio).

This role reports directly to the Executive Director, and will work in close partnership with the Director of Campaigns and Paid Media Strategy, as well as serving as a point person for digital teams on campaigns. This is a senior staff position that requires the routine exercise of discretion and independent judgment on significant issues, and so does require prior campaign experience with a preference for experience as a Digital Director on a Senate campaign.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for Digital Directors including advising on weekly campaign calls, holding weekly one-on-one check-ins, and providing templates, best practice guides, and other resources.
  • Develop relationships with Digital Directors that allow the DSCC to serve as a strong partner.
  • Manage department staff and oversee production and workflow of video, graphics, and social media across departments and external partners.
  • Track campaigns’ digital program KPIs including fundraising, acquisition budgets and performance, and persuasion and mobilization advertising budgets and performance, and distilling that information into pertinent updates for DSCC leadership.
  • Oversee DSCC content strategy across owned platforms.
  • Help campaigns find and recruit effective Digital Directors and digital staff.
  • Provide digital support for campaign launches.
  • Develop digital competitive data and reports to help inform campaign and DSCC spending decisions.
  • Communicate information to Digital Directors on behalf of DSCC.
  • Connect Digital Directors with partners and members of the caucus.
  • Review proposals and plans from digital consultants to ensure campaigns are receiving sound guidance.
  • Track digital data and trends and share that information with campaigns.
  • Help manage DSCC digital paid media campaigns as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 cycles of campaign experience including campaign work outside of DC.
  • At least one cycle of experience as a Digital Director on a Senate campaign or other statewide campaign.
  • Experience with principal/candidate management.
  • Experience managing staff and consulting teams.
  • Experience with digital fundraising and overseeing digital acquisition plans.
  • Experience with running digital persuasion and mobilization ad programs.
  • Experience managing organic social media for a candidate, elected official, or other principal.
  • Commitment to a collaborative, no-drama work environment dedicated first and foremost to the mission of the DSCC.
  • Strong political judgment and knowledge of campaigns.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively at the direction of DSCC leadership, as well as the ability to work independently and exercise their own discretion -- and the demonstrated ability to judge when either is necessary and appropriate.
  • Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and be flexible.
  • Willingness to work long, irregular hours as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Please submit a resume and list of references if you’d like to apply.
