Job Description

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at CyberPoint, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our advanced machine learning and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and data scientists, to design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that bring complex AI technologies to life. Your work will involve creating seamless, user-centric designs for systems powered by technologies like NLP, generative AI, and large-scale data processing, ensuring that they align with CyberPoint’s strategic goals.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 7-10 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree + 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with usability testing, including preparing test plans and wireframes, facilitating test sessions, analyzing data, and reporting and presenting results.
  • Proficient in creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions through various means such as wireframes, prototypes, and task flow diagrams.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to and interacting with end-users.
  • Prior experience conducting user interviews and contextual inquiries.
  • Experience with user tracking and metrics tooling such as Matomo.
  • Experience visualizing user metrics using Qlik and/or Tableau.
  • Usability/UX-related certification (e.g., CUA) is a Nice to Have.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to support agile development, utilizing iterative development methodologies for requirements and solutions.
  • Translate user research information into actionable user interface requirements and workflows.
  • Produce high-quality solutions through hybrid wireframe and visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and working applications, contributing to the design, development, and testing of AI/ML tools and delivery methods.
  • Develop mock-up solutions that can be implemented quickly.
  • Test and validate usability by monitoring and reporting metrics, leveraging research and analytics to drive product updates and improve user experience. Use available tooling to quantify user activity and application utilization, producing visualizations for analysis of user behavior.
  • Apply principles, methods, and techniques of user-based design with in-depth knowledge of complex computer-based systems, supporting AI solution development.
  • Support technical activities related to end-users, identifying mission goals, desired metrics, data standards, and user workflows.
  • Collaborate with end-users to build and analyze user stories, identifying system, software, and interface requirements for capability design and development.
  • Identify user processes, software, and other mission issues that could be improved using AI.
  • Capture and formulate user needs, gathering and incorporating feedback from user interviews, usability tests, surveys, data analysis, and similar methods to define the broader user experience.
  • Design and prototype specific AI/ML solutions, understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Advocate for the user by empathizing with their experience and informing design decisions.
  • Work closely with Mission and Capability Delivery teams to help determine product goals.
  • Collaborate with team members on user research, customer testing, and iterative feedback loops.
