Seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer to be part of a customer-focused, innovative team that is committed to delivering high-quality digital experiences.   • This is a work-from-home position; however, candidates must have an established residence in Pennsylvania and be able to come into the office when needed by the manager.
  • Candidates MUST provide a strong portfolio of recent professional work as a link or attachment in order to be considered for this role!
Responsibilities Include:
  • Building and optimizing beautifully designed, high-performing webpages.
  • Developing and enhancing Front-End features for Mobile applications, ensuring they deliver exceptional functionality and intuitive design.
  • Managing and organizing component library.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Implementing responsive design principles for seamless usage across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Ensuring all web pages align with SEO best practices and enhance overall user satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all web pages and app designs align with company brand standards and design files provided.
  • Attending weekly meetings with both the Creative Manager and DevOps Manager.
  • Attending (optional) monthly, in-person team meetings in Palmerton, PA whenever possible.
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience working as a Front-end Web Developer.
  • Established residency in Pennsylvania.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating responsive web designs.
  • Experience with Jira, Slack, Basecamp, Dropbox, and Evernote a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO principles and strategies to enhance web performance and rankings.
  • High proficiency using:
    • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Web frameworks and libraries such as Git and Drupal.
    • Mobile application platforms such as Flutter with Dart.
    • Figma/Dev Mode.
    • Microsoft Office programs.
    • Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity using Adobe Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; meeting deadlines and submitting deliverables.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to design and implement UX/UI elements for apps and webpages with user-centric design principles.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and follow directives.
  • Ability to provide regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to come into the office as needed by the manager.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to provide a strong portfolio showcasing past web projects, application features, and responsive designs.
