As a Marketing Coordinator at United, you will collaborate with various technical departments to develop proposals, ads, culture event collateral, presentations, social media content, and general graphic support by means of innovative creativity, Adobe Creative Cloud software (with an emphasis on InDesign), AI, CRM, and by working with our technical staff. This position offers the opportunity to evolve with the company as we integrate AI and cutting-edge technology into our tools and software. A key responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator will be to create compelling proposals by utilizing both technical (assisted by technical staff) and non-technical writing, graphics, and visually engaging layouts.

Title: MARKETING COORDINATOR
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Department Manager
Education: Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent
Registration: None required
Location: Indianapolis – hybrid (3 days office/ 2 days remote) after training period and in accordance with the company policy.
Experience: Not less than four years marketing communications experience. Relevant experience developing marketing proposals and materials in the Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (AEC) industry is a plus.
Duties:
- Ability to work independently with some directional assistance from the Department Manager or Senior Marketing Coordinator
- Prepare proposals and SOQ’s while adhering to the Quality Control Plan
- Develop, maintain, and make readily available all information regarding the project experience of the firm and its employees as support to business development strategies
- Maintain personnel resumes documenting educational achievements, professional development, and project experience including client references
- Ability to balance and successfully complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintain inventory of typical marketing items
- Maintain equipment and/or materials for presentations, meetings, and general sales
- Possess excellent time management skills and ability to meet hard deadlines
- Capable of erecting and maintaining exhibit booth for conferences
- Create and maintain content for social media, internal tv monitors, ads, brochures, posters, and other required marketing materials
- Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and company practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Must possess excellent computer skills and it is preferred to be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign
- Must possess excellent time management skills while paying attention to details
- Must have the ability to produce quality work while adhering to strict deadlines
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively and possess excellent technical writing skill
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must possess ability to interact with officials of all levels of government
- Must possess other technical skills necessary to perform the duties of this position
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work seated for 9 or more hours per workday
- Able to work 40 or more hours per work week, as needed
- Able to travel throughout Indiana including overnight stays
Other Requirements:
- Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
- Agree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
- Designated as a flexible position as defined in the Company Policy.
