cbdMD seeks a diverse, multifaceted candidate to lead our evolving Social Media Team. In this role, the Social Media Manager will be accountable for the company’s social visibility. The successful candidate must possess superb negotiating, written, and verbal communication skills and enjoy collaborating and growing in a fast-paced team environment.
As a core marketing team member, you will be instrumental in shaping how our brands interact with their audiences on social media platforms.
We seek someone with experience in social media strategy, reporting, and community management on platforms like Instagram, Facebook {META}, TikTok, and YouTube.
In addition to ensuring we reflect each brand’s style and tone, you will be responsible for staying on top of social trends, creating and managing a content calendar, and driving new ideas for social graphics, reels, videos, and community management.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all posts/stories/reels.
- Stay up-to-date and capitalize on relevant trends, news stories, and key events.
- Community Management: Respond to community interactions and engage with relevant accounts using the brand’s tone and personality.
- Analytics and Reporting: We want weekly reporting that defines key campaigns and initiatives. We want someone who can examine their performance and tell us what is working, what we need to test, and how we can maximize our social media presence.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Use social platforms to listen to competitors to ensure we stand out in our category.
- Content Planning and Strategy: Develop and maintain content calendars and strategies tailored to each brand and platform to drive growth and engagement.
- Develop new and innovative ways to engage our community (giveaways, contests, polls).
- Work closely with our design and marketing team to execute social campaigns and graphics and ensure alignment with overall brand objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Highly organized – you can juggle multiple brands and social media strategies – often with different tones/voices and KPIs.
- Strong analytic skills – you can interpret data and adjust your strategies to deliver on KPIs.
- Adaptability – quickly capitalizes on changing trends, new algorithms, or business priorities.
- Creativity – You have a knack for writing clever copy and ideating new content that will resonate with your target audience.
- Experience in influencer marketing and how to maximize influencer collaborations.
- Managing multiple brands across multiple platforms, focusing on Instagram and TikTok.
