OVERVIEW:
Working as {Vice President of Marketing) you will lead a group of employees who are responsible for communication, marketing and branding strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Aligning marketing programs with company strategy and sales objectives
o Leading and developing others to achieve goals
o Effectively collaborating with suppliers, sales teams and other internal departments
o Innovating processes and leveraging technology to improve work flow, efficiency and the distribution of marketing and branding messaging
o Continuously developing opportunities to promote Fastenal's brand, products, services and solutions to create brand awareness, generate leads and promote customer loyalty
o Developing consistent branding messages across all platforms of print, digital and social media and direct selling

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess a degree in Marketing, Sales, Management, Administration, Communication, or a related field OR Possess at least 5 years of marketing, sales or management experience
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and program development abilities
o Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate others
o Demonstrate a creative mindset committed to customer service and providing solutions
o Willingness to speak to large public audiences
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Willingness to travel
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess director level leadership experience
o Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of sales cultures
o Possess budget management experience
o Previous experience designing internal and external communication strategies

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:
Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $120,000 - 150,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
