Work Setting: Monday through Friday, in-office; hybrid option available after training
Travel: Up to 10% (site visits, inspections, and training)
Compensation: $82,000 - $111,000 + bonuses, incentives, and overtime eligibility

What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical environment (or an Associate Degree in a mechanical discipline).
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (no interviews for candidates without Inventor experience).
- Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Autodesk Vault.
- Understanding of P&IDs for equipment design and system integration.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and process piping.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical and system calculations.
- International travel experience and prior work in industrial plant settings.
What Youll Do
- Utilize CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical drawings for plant equipment.
- Take conceptual designs, sketches, and ideas from engineers and develop fully engineered drawing packages.
- Perform site visits to assess existing equipment, ducting routes, and layouts for future projects.
- Conduct fabrication facility inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and tolerances.
- Assist engineers and designers by suggesting design improvements for enhanced performance.
- Check mechanical equipment drawings for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to design concepts.
- Contribute to project documentation, including specifications, quality documents, and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth project execution and continuous design improvements.
