Travel: Up to 10% (site visits, inspections, and training)

Compensation: $82,000 - $111,000 + bonuses, incentives, and overtime eligibility

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical environment (or an Associate Degree in a mechanical discipline).
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (no interviews for candidates without Inventor experience).
  • Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Autodesk Vault.
  • Understanding of P&IDs for equipment design and system integration.
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and process piping.
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical and system calculations.
  • International travel experience and prior work in industrial plant settings.

What Youll Do

  • Utilize CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical drawings for plant equipment.
  • Take conceptual designs, sketches, and ideas from engineers and develop fully engineered drawing packages.
  • Perform site visits to assess existing equipment, ducting routes, and layouts for future projects.
  • Conduct fabrication facility inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and tolerances.
  • Assist engineers and designers by suggesting design improvements for enhanced performance.
  • Check mechanical equipment drawings for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to design concepts.
  • Contribute to project documentation, including specifications, quality documents, and maintenance manuals.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth project execution and continuous design improvements.
