The Opportunity
ISMG is searching for a talented and experienced Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful management, promotion, and execution of our global events portfolio.
You will oversee 4-8+ virtual/live events per month, managing sponsor relationships and driving attendee recruitment to meet registration targets while ensuring client satisfaction. Your role will engage cybersecurity professionals worldwide, requiring flexibility to operate across various time zones.

What You'll Be Doing
- Planning, coordinating, and promoting ISMG global events in alignment with sponsor requirements and audience objectives.
- Serving as the main point of contact for sponsors throughout the event lifecycle, managing expectations, and ensuring goals are met.
- Achieving registration and attendance targets by leveraging our Marketo contact database and collaborating with the Delegate Acquisition team on recruitment strategies.
- Expanding our global prospect database while nurturing existing relationships and building a network of industry executives.
- Working closely with internal Sales, Editorial, and Marketing teams to ensure promotional materials meet sponsor expectations and deadlines.
- Engaging in post-event discussions to gather feedback from attendees and sponsors and assess interest in future events.
- Analyzing event results to identify key performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Monitoring industry trends and the competitive landscape to contribute to departmental growth.
What You'll Bring For Success
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in event management, audience development, and attendee recruitment.
- Experience with B2B industry events, particularly within the cybersecurity or IT sectors, is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of managing client projects with a focus on event outcomes.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms like Zoom, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, or WebEx.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo, is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced media environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in engaging industry professionals and senior executives.
