Overview
The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Director of Marketing to implement Arrow’s marketing efforts, as defined by the Chief Development Officer. This position will create and manage engaging content, collaborate with internal teams and local organizations to coordinate public relations efforts, promoting events and partnerships to increase awareness, and enhance outreach efforts. The ideal candidate must be a strong multi-tasker, and have outstanding communication, interpersonal, and research skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with writing and designing compelling content for social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials that pertain to the brand.
  • Assist with the production of videos, graphics, and stories that highlight the Arrow’s impact and success stories.
  • Collaborate with the Director on marketing plans aligned with the organization’s mission and goals, develop campaigns to increase awareness of needs and services, oversee branding and ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with the organization’s mission, voice, and brand standards.
  • Help manage the company’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights to improve outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and Communications on strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with budgeting, project timelines, and vendor coordination for marketing activities.
  • Work closely with program staff to share updates and success stories.
  • Align marketing and outreach efforts with the organization’s programs and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to promote our mission and services.
  • Help draft press releases and pitch stories to local media outlets to highlight the organization’s achievements and upcoming events.
  • Help plan and promote community events, workshops, and fundraisers to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Help develop an Ambassador Program to involve community members, influencers, and stakeholders in spreading awareness about the organization’s work.
  • Occasionally represents Arrow at meetings and other community events.
  • Provide general office support for Development, Communications, and Marketing team.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
  • May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University required. Prior experience in a nonprofit is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a history and working knowledge of best practices in content creation, digital marketing, analytics, and general marketing knowledge. Additional experience in nonprofit marketing and communication is preferred.
