One of our large Medical Device companies is actively looking for a Remote Technical Writer to join the Digital Transformation team. The Technical writer is primarily responsible for the development of new and revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions, & Computer System Validation (CSV) Test Scripts. The Goal of this project is to deploy new digital capabilities to enable automation of product release processes.
Responsibilities include:
Create new SOPs governing execution and support of deployed digital solutions
Collaborate with site process owners and experts to revise existing procedures
Manage change control process in client PLM system for all documentation
Support training materials development and deployment
Support draft of User Acceptance Test scripts
Engage with project stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution
Track progress and report task status
Adhere to documentation quality standards
This is a contract until end of June 2025, with high potential for extensions until end of year.

Previous experience working with Windchill PLM
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
2-5 years of experience writing SOPs and Work Instructions
Prior experience supporting CSV validation activities
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of medical device GxP requirements
- Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
