Job DescriptionCD PROJEKT RED is looking for a dedicated Senior Animation Programmer who is passionate about developing high-fidelity, scalable animation systems and behaviors. This role involves working on various aspects of animation, from sophisticated gunplay and character locomotion to enhancing the environments our characters interact with, including the vehicles they drive and the worlds they inhabit.
You will address a diverse range of engineering challenges essential for delivering believable and consistent animations across various situations and game modes, collaborate with animators, artists, and fellow engineers to design, prototype, and implement new features, and continuously enhance our character fidelity and believability as we scale up in complexity. Additionally, you will develop and improve workflows to ensure that both animators and engineers can efficiently build, refine, and debug animation behaviors.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the game industry (with at least 3 years in a similar position).
- Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, specifically in the animation area.
- Deep knowledge of C++.
- Experience in working on various platforms.
- Strong system architecture skills.
- Ability to debug and optimize code.
- Experience with multithreaded programming.
- At least one AAA title shipped on different platforms.
- Experience with RPG and/or open world games will be very welcome.
- A team player who can think and work creatively, taking initiative to solve problems.
- A continued drive towards professional growth.
- An agile mindset with a passion for creating games!

This job can be hybrid/in-office from Boston or fully remote.
