Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Icon Concerts is a boutique promoter specializing in live comedy tours. We prioritize putting the artist first and ensuring transparency for consumers. Our team promotes and produces full tours and one-off dates, offering a 360-degree tour experience with zero egos. Our specialty is building, developing, and branding artists through white-label touring while working behind the scenes to let the artist shine. Role Overview The Tour Marketing Director will lead the team in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns for nationally booked theater and arena tours. This role is essential for supporting our artist agency, management partners, and venue marketers, providing best-in-class service, and cultivating strong relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a deep understanding of live entertainment marketing and a passion for comedy. Responsibilities Serve as the primary internal contact for artist management teams regarding ICON Concert tours. Develop relationships with external partners, including artists, managers, agents, talent buyers, and venue marketers. Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans for tours and shows. Oversee marketing budgets and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution. Manage advertising, promotions, media events, PR initiatives, and content creation. Lead the development of tour assets, including radio spots, TV spots, video spots, and digital creative. Negotiate advertising rates contracts and explore sponsorship and non-traditional media opportunities. Establish and nurture local marketing and advertising partnerships for promotional and trade opportunities. Mentor marketing team members, fostering professional growth and development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred 5 - 7+ years of marketing experience in comedy, live music entertainment, or related industry Proven track record of outstanding client relationships Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to navigate complex situations under pressure Exceptional presentation skills for marketing concepts and strategies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, and project management software Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies Strong analytical skills to drive marketing decisions Creativity and problem-solving aptitude Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Passion for comedy and live experiences Hiring Practices This job description outlines the general responsibilities of the role but is not exhaustive.
