Strategy Development:
Lead the creation of consumer-based marketing strategies to identify target consumers and align product marketing campaigns with the consumer journey Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and assess market trends to inform marketing strategies
Product Positioning and Messaging:
Define and communicate the product's value proposition, ensuring all marketing materials reflect this messaging Develop marketing collateral including sales presentations, product datasheets, website content, case studies, and customer testimonials
Go-to-Market Planning:
Plan and execute product launches and ongoing promotional activities, coordinating with sales, product management, and creative teams Organize campaign details such as product messaging and channel selection for reaching potential customers
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product management to understand product features and translate them into marketing messages Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement tools and resources
Market Research:
Conduct and analyze market and consumer research to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes Use insights to refine marketing strategies and product positioning
Leadership and Mentorship:
Manage and mentor junior marketing personnel, fostering a collaborative environment Influence cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with marketing strategies
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports to management Adjust strategies based on performance metrics to optimize market impact
Innovation and Adaptation:
Stay abreast of industry trends and technology to keep marketing strategies innovative and effective Integrate user feedback into product updates and future marketing plans
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred Experience: Requires 6-10 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a product marketing managerial role Skills:
Strong analytical skills for understanding market data and trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and cross-departmental coordination Creativity in developing compelling marketing campaigns Proficiency in using marketing tools (CRM systems, marketing automation, web analytics) Organizational skills for managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
