We're Looking For A: Producer/Editor to serve as a key player in the creation of innovative and engaging video content, focusing on both ideation and execution. This hybrid role combines the technical expertise of a videographer and editor with the creative responsibilities of a producer, making it ideal for a content creator who is ready to contribute to the entire production process. This individual will be responsible for pitching video concepts, collaborating with writers to refine scripts, and ensuring that the final product aligns with the company's brand and goals. This role will involve creating and editing content designed to generate revenue, with an emphasis on health, wellness and pet topics. The Producer/Editor will play a vital role in shaping the narrative and visual style of the company's video assets while maintaining high production values.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ideate and pitch creative video concepts that align with the brand's goals and health/wellness messaging.
  • Write and direct video ads with the goal of selling products using a data-driven, test-and-learn approach.
  • Come up with fresh and innovative concepts/angles for ads and write scripts.
  • Direct actors and/or celebrity brand partners to elicit authentic and persuasive performances; Formulate and ask interview questions that elicit the most compelling soundbites.
  • Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos that engage audiences and generate revenue.
  • Oversee the full production cycle, from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for various platforms and distribution channels, following industry best practices.
  • Manage deadlines and workflows to ensure timely delivery of content.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Bachelor's Degree (required) in Film Production or related fields (preferred)
  • 3-5 years' previous experience in video writing/production.
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (required)
  • Knowledgeable in social media - YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc
  • 5-7 years experience directing/producing/editing/writing UGC creatives.
  • Experience editing video content for brands in the health, wellness, pet, and beauty industries preferred
  • Proficient with OS X, Google apps
  • Must know color grading, multicam editing and basic audio mixing
  • Experience with typical production protocol and etiquette when dealing with talent
  • Proven experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
  • Strong creative thinking and ability to develop video concepts from start to finish.
  • Expertise with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc.).
  • Knowledge of health and wellness content creation preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with writers, brand managers, production, shooters, and other team members.

The base salary range is $72,300.00-$96,400.00, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
