Base pay range $50.00/hr - $57.00/hr Job Title: UX Content Writer Location: Hybrid (T-TH in Sunnyvale, CA) Duration: 10+ Months Type: Full-Time, Contract Description: We are seeking a skilled UX Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including content creation, evaluation, and editorial deliverables. Key responsibilities include: For Evaluations: Perform side-by-side (SxS) comparisons using predefined rubrics for text, chat, factuality, multimodal, and safety. For Content Creation: Develop new data for evaluation sets or training using seed data, inspirational examples, or guidelines. Content Development: Create content through model redteaming, prompt writing/engineering, and producing reports on loss patterns relevant to building new evaluation sets. Generative AI Writing: Write prompts and other generative AI content for internal or external use. Editorial Deliverables: Review, copyedit, and technically verify content. Quality Review: Review generative AI outputs for quality, rewrites, and editing from internal and external inputs. Requirements for the Role: Education and Experience: Mandatory: Advanced degree (PhD/Masters) in English, Communications, HCI, Journalism, or a writing-intensive humanities discipline. Technical Skills: Understanding of JSON & HTML. Experience: Technical writing or prompt writing experience. Prompt Management: Ability to create, compile, and organize technical prompts for internal and external use. Editing Skills: Review, revise, modify, or edit prompts prepared by others. Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy. Data Familiarity: Familiarity with enterprise data. Desired Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills for a broad range of audiences. Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills; ability to balance process and flexibility. Interest in software, machine learning, data, and finance. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Self-driven with the ability to work independently. Experience working with user research, data, and customer feedback; ability to synthesize these into specific content choices and broader content strategies.
