Company Description We are a creative studio based in Venice, CA and engaged in the following efforts: Commercial + Fine Art Photography and Video Production Music Production, Composition, Releases & Performances Public Speaking and Workshops We are looking for a social media manager who is an expert at creating organic, hands-on engagement in a very niche sector. We prefer 200 happily engaged viewers over 200k followers. Our primary focus platform is LinkedIn, followed by Instagram, YouTube, and X. Because of our experience in creating media, we have a large library of previous images (10,000+) and videos (50+) ready to post. We have a large library of raw video ready for editing, and about 30-40 video scripts ready to shoot and produce. These can be seen as a resource as we build momentum together. Responsibilities: Perform a deep intake/audit of our creative practice to prioritize the three offerings above. Review our existing library to identify usable content and familiarize yourself with our work and our creative voice. Develop a clear strategy with defined goals for engagement, reach, ad buy, and conversion. Manage the shooting and editing of new material. Develop, populate, and manage a content calendar. Create engaging social media campaigns that are platform-specific. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using relevant tools and metrics. Collaborate with PR during major launches and rollouts of specific projects. Build organic engagement using direct messages. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tools, especially AI. Qualifications: Must love supporting others to grow and flourish. Minimum 3+ years working in social media management for creative brands and/or artists. Can calmly manage multiple communication streams and be able to organize and prioritize them. Mix of remote + in-person for filming days in Venice, CA (open to remote work if you can manage a local filming crew). Playful and innovative visual storytelling skills with experience in content creation, including graphics, video editing, and copywriting. Ability to communicate with exacting perfectionism. Prior experience working with PR companies is a plus. Be ready to work almost entirely autonomously after initial intake, and dive into teamwork as needed. Pay:
