Position Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our fast-paced team supporting Trojan Battery Company and C&D Technologies. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting the marketing communications and digital team by assisting in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns. The marketing coordinator will help to create strategies and implement plans to by coordinating meetings, organizing teams, project managing and creating and maintaining marketing content. This role will collaborate with external agencies and cross-functional teams throughout the company to ensure streamlined processes and enhanced communication.
Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.
- Organize and manage various parts of projects to ensure success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication as well as creating reports and updates for the team.
- Assist in developing and implementing the company's brand strategy.
- Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
- Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal marketing tools.
- Develop and manage content calendars for Marcom and Digital team.
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools is required.
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Must be a team player and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment.
- Occasional travel may be required
