We invite you to join us in this mission to engage and inspire through the power of arts and culture.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to develop and execute engaging organic and paid social media strategies for Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP. This individual will be responsible for expanding our digital presence, engaging our audiences, and driving ticket sales through innovative content and targeted campaigns. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, creative storyteller who thrives on staying ahead of digital trends and creating captivating content across multiple social platforms RequirementsPrincipal Responsibilities:Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies: Create and execute organic and paid social media plans tailored to our unique audiences, optimizing for engagement, reach, and ticket sales.Content Creation & Community Engagement: Design compelling multimedia content (videos, graphics, stories, etc.) and interact with our audience to drive meaningful conversations and brand loyalty.Platform-Specific Campaigns: Develop and manage campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and more.Paid Social Media Advertising: Coordinate paid social media campaigns to reach target audiences, utilizing data analytics to optimize performance and maximize ROI.Influencer & Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with influencers and content creators to develop organic and paid campaigns that align with our brand values.Analytics & Optimization: Track and analyze social media performance, using data insights to optimize strategies and enhance engagement.Event Coverage & On-Site Content Capture: Attend live events to document key moments and engage with audiences, creating authentic content to share across platforms.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our overall marketing goals.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Arts Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of professional social media marketing experience, preferably in live entertainment, arts, or hospitality.Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager).Strong knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics).Experience in content creation with a portfolio of successful campaigns and creative execution.Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across different platforms and audiences.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, photography/videography, and basic video editing is a plus.Passion for arts, live entertainment, and community engagement.Physical & Work Environment:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor events, and endure elements like heat, cold, or precipitation.Must be comfortable working in high-energy environments with loud music, flashing lights, and pyrotechnics.Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as required for live events.Why Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP?Be part of a vibrant, creative team in one of the region's most celebrated arts and entertainment venues.Work in a diverse and inclusive environment committed to making a difference in the community.Experience life in Northwest Arkansas, a hub for culture, outdoor adventure, and economic opportunity.
