Location: Chicago,Illinois Expected Start Date: Mar 31, 2025 Swoon is actively seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Writer to join the team! US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder are required - (Sponsorship and C2C is NOT available at this time or in the future) What will your day-to-day look like? Develop and manage cybersecurity policies and standard throughout their lifecycle Create and maintain document templates that adhere to organizational standards Take complex, technical information and translate into an easily understandable format for consumption by internal and external audiences Responsible for the complete library of cybersecurity policies and standards, from creation through finalization including reviews and updates. Researches, outlines, write, and edit cybersecurity content to understand content requirements and impacts to the entire system Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation. Assist with preparing documents for compliance audits, cyber security, and vulnerability assessments, and contributing to the development of compliance programs What's required? 7+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity 3+ years of healthcare experience Knowledge of cybersecurity protection and monitoring tools, risk remediation, and governances processes as well as security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, WAF, NAC, and network communication layers Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtual platforms, encryption technologies, endpoint protection, networks systems, and data loss prevention, threat protection and anti-malware tools Education Bachelors Degree required Security certification preferred - CISSP, CISA, or CEH Things to Love about this company!
