Summary of the Marketing Content Specialist

As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and distributing high quality content that amplifies the Qualifacts brand across the industry and supports our mission—to enhance the well-being of individuals and communities through innovative software and data solutions that elevate the standard of behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities for the Marketing Content Specialist

  1. Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals and target audience needs
  2. Create high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, and social media posts
  3. Create and repurpose impactful content across written, visual, video, and in-person event formats
  4. Leverage content management background to partner with Product Marketing teams to develop audience- and state-specific collateral that drive marketing and sales qualified leads and improve Qualifacts brand equity in market
  5. Utilize AI and other innovative tools to accelerate content output, customize content at scale with segment-specific messaging, and explore new formats for maximizing content effectiveness
  6. Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search visibility
  7. Distribute content through various channels, including email marketing, social media, and our website
  8. Confidently promote and distribute campaign material to internal audiences with specific departmental content package requirements
  9. Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure pipeline growth, accelerate time-to-value sales initiatives, and drive product marketing demand and lead generation
  10. Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and optimize future campaigns
  11. Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment and consistency

Qualifications of the Marketing Content Specialist

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in content marketing or a similar role
  3. 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing. Healthcare technology and behavioral healthcare experience is a plus
  4. Must have a keen interest in healthcare industry news, trends, policies, and leading voices that impact Qualifacts
  5. Must be invested in the art and science of content marketing with a passion for improving their craft and developing professionally
  6. Experience in healthcare writing and content distribution is a must
  7. Experience in behavioral healthcare writing is a huge plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Marketing Content Specialist

  1. Strong writing and editing skills
  2. Experience with SEO and content marketing best practices
  3. Proficiency in content management systems and marketing automation tools
  4. Proven track record of repackaging content assets into new “media” types (videos, webinars, and other formats), with a strong sense of channel conventions and storytelling
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  6. Experience with Adobe, Canva, Salesforce, Pardot, SharePoint, WordPress
