Graphic Designer Job at American Society of Interior Designers in New York

At Major Label Group, we are a fashion house that is highly experienced in developing products and manufacturing in a wide array of styles to meet the needs of consumers in all apparel categories.

Major Label Group is looking for talented graphic designers with special skills in apparel graphics and graphic illustration for product development to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for designers with 3-5 years of experience who are excited about design and working collaboratively. Experience in the men’s fashion industry is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

1. Must be able to design and/or source assets quickly based on sketches, draft slides, data, and content requirements gathered from different departments under the direction of the senior members of the team.
2. Work well with other organization staff members.
3. Responsible for current knowledge and understanding of emerging trends.
4. Requires 4 days a week in office, with the option to work remotely on the 5th day.

Qualifications

• Passion for design and creativity.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of PLM system.
• Strong illustration/presentation skills.
• Licensing experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with good follow-through.
• Strong organizational, communication, and written skills.
