Our client is a large fashion house that produces and sells retail & luxury goods, shoes, and jewelry. Looking for a Senior Accountant who will report to the Head of Finance & Operations and is responsible for managing a company's financial and accounting practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Bookkeeping and support to the accounting entries preparation.
2. Financial reporting: creation and preparation of financial reports for taxes and regulatory agencies.
3. Reconciling accounts: Comparing records to ensure figures match, and identifying discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
4. Maintaining ledgers: Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of accounting tasks.
5. Assisting: Helping the accounting manager prepare documents and interpret financial information for executives.
6. Identify potential areas of opportunity, risk and provide solutions.
7. Collaborates with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
8. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
9. Support to the preparation of the financial statement.
10. Oversees all accounting records and subsidiary details.
11. Arranges payments of invoices and rent expenses.
12. Support to the preparation and implementation of new procedures.
13. Ad hoc projects.
14. Various financial/accounting functions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as accounting, finance, business, supply chain, or international business.
2. 3-5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
3. Experience with SAP software.
4. Experience in previous retail, wholesale, luxury, fashion, or beauty is a PLUS.
