Videographer/Photographer

We have an immediate opening on our Marketing Team for a Videographer/Photographer, providing service to two thriving law firms in Ybor City. Being a part of our team can be a rewarding experience and give you a strong sense of purpose in helping others. This individual will be responsible for enhancing how we reach clients, colleagues, and the community to elevate our brand in the market. The right candidate will bring a passion and talent for communicating messages through media. Limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, offering support in these areas:

  • Activities related to the conception, design, creation, development, and implementation of media distribution.
  • Creating video and sound production, including shooting, editing, and overall project management.
  • Post-production editing.
  • Creating content strategy and tactics to ensure consistent and effective messaging for audiences across various platforms.
  • Leveraging best practices in video communication for branding and employee engagement.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience applying photo/video techniques with a high level of craftmanship.
  • Perform duties as assigned with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to take initiative to complete tasks from conception through completion and is comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of audience perceptions across platforms for maximum effectiveness and reach.
  • Working knowledge of storyboarding, filming, post-production, and composition.
  • Understanding of various editing software and computer programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite Premier Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and more. (Software licenses and equipment will be provided.)
  • Ability to edit videos, including sound and color corrections.
  • Knowledge of digital media production, equipment, and processes.
  • Understanding of how to effectively direct and manage shoots.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 20lbs or more, or to remain sedentary for long periods.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in video production and editing, or combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a videographer, preferably in a corporate/industry setting (either in-house or as a freelancer).

Schedule:

  • Office hours are 8am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am to 3pm on Friday, but flexibility is required as projects may demand additional hours, including weekends.

  • Salary is between $60k-$70k, based upon experience. A portfolio may be requested.
