As a Senior Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative, translating trends, data, and expert insights into engaging content that informs and inspires our audience. This is more than just a writing role-you'll be a key architect of our content strategy, working cross-functionally to elevate Hiive's presence across various platforms.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • Develop and execute a strategic content roadmap that aligns with Hiive's brand, business goals, and audience needs.
  • Conduct interviews with high-profile startup leaders, industry experts, and Hiive's executive team to craft compelling narratives.
  • Convert the world's largest set of private market data into engaging and insightful stories.
  • Create and manage a mix of long-form and short-form content, including blog posts, whitepapers, ad copy, social media, and web content.
  • Collaborate closely with growth and product marketing to optimize content for SEO, paid media, and key marketing initiatives.
  • Provide editorial oversight, ensuring consistency, clarity, and brand alignment across all content formats.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop engaging content for product launches and other major company milestones.
  • Work with designers and agencies to produce visually compelling assets such as infographics and videos.


Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in content strategy, journalism, or content marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging prose.
  • Familiarity with editorial processes, messaging hierarchies, and copyediting best practices.
  • Experience developing content for diverse audiences, including designers, developers, product managers, and investors.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Understanding of startups, venture capital, and financial markets, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with BI tools for uncovering insights and using data to inform storytelling.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Experience working in marketing at a high-growth tech company is a bonus.
