Binnie has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our growing Head Office of over 350 staff near scenic Deer Lake in Burnaby. This role also offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Reporting to our Corporate Communications Manager and working closely with Division Managers and Project Managers, you will guide all marketing efforts and lead our Marketing Team.

YOUR ROLE:
• Develop best practices for the company and lead the implementation of strategic marketing initiatives
• Manage our website, intranet, and social media presence; populate with news stories, staff profiles, new projects; and improve engagement based on analytics
• Plan and manage our participation at conferences, client events, and industry events, including the production of supporting materials (e.g. - banners, material, swag, etc.)
• Collaborate with others to update and create marketing materials (brochures, award submissions, presentation boards, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, boilerplate, etc.)
• Manage advertising, including relationships with publications, associations, and interest groups
• Source and manage Binnie-branded swag and inventory
• Work collaboratively with and support company leadership (including executives, Vice Presidents, and Division Managers) in achieving their marketing goals
• Manage, coach, and guide the Marketing Team (graphics, messaging, branding, etc.) and coordinate with external marketing resources

WHAT YOU BRING:
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in marketing and branding in a professional services environment
• 2+ years of management experience
• Experience in professional services and/or the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry in BC is preferred
• Completed Diploma or Degree in Marketing/Communications/Commerce/Business Administration/Arts
• Ability to develop, lead, and deliver strategic marketing initiatives for a variety of stakeholders and engagement opportunities
• Experience implementing marketing plans and executing actionable tactics
• Fluency with social media, WordPress, and reporting analytics
• Strong communications, creative writing, editing, and graphics skills to deliver compelling messages for broad audiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Strong document layout skills; experience in graphic design for print and web is preferred
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple competing demands and meet deadlines consistently
