EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to support PACAF leadership by developing and executing strategic messaging, digital engagement, and event coordination efforts. This role requires expertise in strategic communications, multimedia production, and senior leadership engagement to enhance the Air Force Civil Engineer (CE) enterprise’s global reach and mission impact. The consultant will play a key role in supporting seminars, briefings, speeches, and virtual events, ensuring PACAF leaders effectively communicate strategic priorities.
The Strategic Communications Consultant will: Maintain a robust Strategic Communications capability, providing leadership with high-quality speeches, briefings, articles, and digital correspondence to convey strategic messages. Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders, participating in and coordinating meetings, forums, working groups, committees, panels, and boards. Develop, consolidate, and deliver meeting materials such as slides, after-action reports, and minutes. Support virtual engagements and events by delivering broadcast-quality multimedia content, including program development, storyboard creation, and professional production of deliverables for worldwide audiences. Work directly with senior leadership to plan and execute high-profile strategic events and engagements. Create varied deliverables to support strategic engagements, ensuring clarity and alignment with Air Force objectives. Develop, maintain, and coordinate strategic event documents and communications strategies. Engage with Air Force and DoD functional experts, senior leadership, and stakeholders to advance key Civil Engineering initiatives. Assist with the planning and execution of the Expeditionary Engineering Working Group (XEWG).
Qualifications: Must be local to Hawaii, with hybrid work schedule requiring in-person work 1-3 days per week at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH). Experience with social media, video production, and/or content writing. Must be able to work across multiple time zones. Ability to travel up to 40% of the time to support events. Active DOD Security Clearance.
